October 16-22nd Spirit Week - Pink Week

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, wear pink to your classes this week!

October 30th - Nov 2nd Spirit Week - Costume Week

Wear your favorite costume to class this week - make sure you can still safely move & dance in your costumes!

November 18th - The Nutcracker Story Performance at TPAC. Tickets on sale now!!

 

November 23rd - December 6th NO CLASSES - Closed for Fall Break

*Due to our Dance Company's performance in Disney, our Thanksgiving Break has been extended this season. Our Winter Break & Spring Break will be a little shorter this season to even out the change.

 

December 16th-21st Spirit Week - Pajama Week

Wear your favorite pjs to classes this week. Just be sure that you can still dance safely in them. 

 

December 23rd - January 1st NO CLASSES - Closed for Winter Break

 

January 15th - MLK Jr Day - We are Open.

 

January 15th-18th - Bring A Friend Week

Dancers may invite a friend, close in age, to join them in their class(es) this week. Friends may wear dance or athletic attire with dance shoes, sneakers, or barefeet. 

 

February 19th - Presidents Day - We are Open.

 

April 1st - NO CLASSES - Spring Break

 

April 29th - May 4th - Recital Prep - Costumes & Schedules go home. 

(2024 Recital T-shirts & Studio Logo Orders will be due this week.)

May 5th - Recital Tickets will go on sale.

Late May/Early June - Recital Portrait Week

Detailed schedule will be posted at the end of April.

May 27th - NO CLASSES - Memorial Day

 

May 28th - June 1st - Recital T-shirt Week

Wear a past or present recital tee to classes this week. If you do not have a Recital t-shirt, you may wear any studio colors.

June 2nd - 1-4pm Opal Company Auditions (Enroll through your parent portal.)

 

June 3rd - June 8th - In Studio Dress Rehearsals

Detailed schedule will be posted in April. Last week of classes. 

 

June 8th - Annual Awards Ceremony (estimated start time of 1-2pm)

Tentative Location: Market St Pub

Attire: Dressy Casual

All are invited. Our Music Students will be performing throughout the awards ceremony.

Awardees: All Company Dancers, Dancers who choreographed Student Showcase pieces, National Honor Society of Dance Arts Jr & Sr Inductees, Graduating Seniors, 5/10/15 Year Awardees, Music Students, and Class Assistants. Any other awardees will be notified by the end of May.  

 

June 10th-15th - NO CLASSES - RECITAL WEEK!!!

June 12th - Tech Rehearsal - Show A & 1st Half of Show C (Mandatory - Schedule TBA)

TPAC Chesapeake College

Attire: Hair in bun, leotard, leggings or bike shorts (black preferred but not required), and 2023 Recital t-shirt (if you don't have one, a past recital t, a TTP logo t, or any shirt that is studio colors - purple, black, silver). Bring all needed dance shoes. Dancers &

Company Members that have tech rehearsal on both nights (Wednesday & Thursday) may set up their costume areas & leave them set up through the Recital days.

 

June 13th - Tech Rehearsal - Show B & 2nd Half of Show C (Mandatory - Schedule TBA)
